Metallica has announced two stadium shows for August 11 at the Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY and August 14 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA. Both shows will be opened by Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills.
"Greetings from HQ! As we prep for tomorrow’s show in Las Vegas, we figured now would be a great time to fill you in on two more stadiums we plan to invade this summer: Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park," said the band on their website. "We’ll be hitting the stage in both towns on August 11 (Buffalo) and August 14 (Pittsburgh) with our friends Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills.
"Tickets will be available for both shows starting at 10 AM ET on Friday, March 4. If you’re a Fifth Member, you’ll have early access beginning Monday, February 28; log in and check out all the details including information about how to request your personal presale code.
"For the show in Pittsburgh at PNC Park, travel packages that include tickets, hotel accommodations, and an exclusive poster will also be available courtesy of MetallicaTravel.com/Pittsburgh. Travel package holders will be hosted at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown, a short 15-minute walk across the river from PNC Park in the heart of downtown. Package options include either two or four tickets GA Floor Tickets and will also be available during the fan club presale.
"It feels absolutely incredible to be hitting the road again this summer, and we hope we see you out there!"
The band also recently announced their (usually) annual Metallica night happening at Oracle Park and the San Francisco Giants on May 24.
