The return of King Diamond is imminent. The King promised touring in 2013, and he's keeping his promise. So far, two dates have surfaced for the King… the Tuska Open Air festival in Finland on June 28th and Bloodstock UK on August 9th. It's safe to say that the King will most likely be spending the summer on the European metal festival circuit. But what does that mean for US fans?
I've heard numerous interviews with the King in recent months where he says he is working on planning a US tour for 2013, so hopefully we will hear something about that soon. The King promises to bring the full stage show to his performances.
King Diamond returned to the stage this past summer at the Sweden Rock Festival, and looked as great as ever. We also recently unearthed archived footage of the King appearing on syndicated talk show, "The Joe Franklin Show" in 1987, and it was as awkward as ever.
