BLACK SABBATH Announce "Intimate" UK Show

Before today, Black Sabbath only had two official shows scheduled on their itinerary, UK's legendary Download Festival in June and then the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, IL in August. The band will be playing in front of tens of thousands of people at these shows, so naturally, they are going to need a warm up. And, a warm up they will have. The godfathers of heavy metal have announced they'll be playing  the O2 Academy in Birmingham, their hometown, on Saturday, May 19. It'll be the first time Tony, Ozzy and Geezer performed together in 13 years. But, who will be drumming for the band?

By now, you surely know that Bill Ward is out, currently embroiled in some heated contract negotiations. The band has yet to make an official declaration about a drummer, just saying they are writing new material and it's going good. Ward has said he remains hopeful that an agreement could be reached. For the sake of the fans, I hope so as well!

Slightly off topic, how killer is that show poster? WANT!!
