Tony Iommi's Mananger Doesn't Say BLACK SABBATH Is Not Reuniting

Ok, this is giving me a headache already. Yesterday, a story broke that Black Sabbath guitar god Tony Iommi opened his mouth and said he's been jamming with Ozzy and the band is planning on getting back together. Then, Iommi released a statement on his site saying that things have been blown out of proportion.

Today, the Birmingham Mail, the same publication that posted the initial Iommi quotes, tried to get some info out of the guitarist's manager, and he's not denying that there will be reunion. What, what?

When asked whether Iommi considered the story in the Birmingham Mail to be untrue Mr Baker said: “No, he doesn’t say that.”

But he added: “We haven’t got anything in place. He’s not denying that the guys have been talking but there’s nothing in the way that’s been implied in the statements that you made.

“He made them to you in June and he felt that he made them to you off-the-record.”

Ok, so that's not a no, right? Here is what I think of this mess. The band is definitely jamming. The band WANTS to tour, but they are taking things slowly. The story broke and things got out of hand. They must've all received all these phone calls and excitement and it's way further along than the band is willing to go at this point. At the same time, I feel that this excitement may be just the motivation the band needs to get their asses back on the road and play fucking NIB and Sweet Leaf for all of us already!
