A gaggle of Trump supporters have taken to the streets to protest. The aim of their protest has something to do with the counting of the votes for the 2020 Presidential election. Trump has claimed, without providing any evidence, that the other side is cheating. His supporters have come out to echo his message. One group of supporters decided to bring a boom box, and somebody had the bright idea to blast Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name."
I'm assuming the appeal of the song is the last verse, where Zack de la Rocha yells out "Now you do what they told you," and "Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me" but the video below starts at the beginning of the song, where the lyrics are "Some of those that work forces / Are the same that burn crosses."
Guitarist Tom Morello saw the video, and was just dumbfounded. Morello commented "Not exactly what we had in mind."
The Trump support and the pro-police flag, while singing an anti-authority song? That's a chef's kiss.
