While the rest of America was enjoying the Super Bowl this past Sunday, Uncle Al Jourgensen of Ministry was enjoying his final day of rehab before checking into rehab for alcohol abuse. Al mentioned this a few weeks ago, but on Monday morning, Al officially checked in.
Of course, Al made sure to keep fans in the loop about his check-in via Facebook postings:
So inspirational! Finally, his wife Angelina checked in a few hours ago and dropped a bombshell that Al had a blood alcohol level of .33:
Just to put that in perspective, the legal limit in NYC is 0.08, so that's almost four times the legal limit, and twice the limit for a DUI… not that Al was driving, but the man is in need of some serious detox. I guess Al knew he had one night of partying left, so he decided to go out swinging.
Our thoughts are with Al on a speedy recovery.
