Remember in 2016 when Hurricane Matthew was the first category five hurricane to hit the Atlantic in over 10 years and stormed through Florida? One man was brave enough to take his American flag, put on some swim trunks and stand up to the hurricane while blasting Slayer's "Raining Blood."
In case you need a refresher:

That brave American's name is Lane Pittman, and with Hurricane Florence ripping through the Carolinas and other parts of the eastern seaboard, there was only one thing for Lane to do. He packed his trunks, his flag and his boombox with Reign In Blood popped in and headed to Myrtle Beach to confront his next victim for another amazing video:
YOU ARE WEAK AND SMALL FLORENCE!!!!! FLORIDA MAN IS HERE!!!!! Slayer #rainingblood #getatme #turnup @wjxt4 @weatherchannel @FoxNews pic.twitter.com/3Jrou45ner

The joke started as a GoFundMe campaign to pay for the gas for Lane to drive to South Carolina for $150, which is currently at over $1,000.
The best part of the storm is that a Fox News reporter spotted Lane and managed to capture an alternate angle of the scene:
Me: what are you doing? There is flying debris

Lane is a man who sometimes lets his patriotism get him in trouble. In 2015, he was arrested on the Fourth of July for shredding the national anthem too hard.
Thank you for your service, Lane!
