The last few weeks, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo's son, Tye, who is also a bassist, helped fill in for Korn on their South American tour. We learned the deal came together by chance when Korn ran into the elder Trujillo at an airport and Trujillo was showing Korn clips of his son on bass.
Well, Papa Trujillo also went out on the trek with Tye to take care of his son while he performed and I guess Robert got the itch to hop on stage as well, which is exactly what he did. Papa and Son Trujillo both jammed together in front of tens of thousands of Korn fans in Lima, Peru on Saturday night (April 29) and you know there is footage:
Unfortunately, it looks like Robert and Tye are busy in May, because Korn cancelled the majority of their dates this month, with the exception of a few big festival dates.
