Warbeast has been quiet about new material ever since its 2013 Destroy, though it did go through some lineup changes between then and now as well. Two bassists later and the band currently has Lyric Ferchaud holding down the low end, and has also added Drew Shoup on guitar.
Now, the band has taken to Facebook to announce that it'll be hitting up the studio with Phil Anselmo in July! Though the record probably won't be out until 2017, which sucks.
“Warbeast is currently busy as hell writing for our 3rd full-length album. We will be departing Dallas/Ft Worth on July 30 to head to Louisiana. Just like our previous albums… we will be recording in Nodferatu’s Lair. Philip Anselmo will be the Producer and it will be released on Housecore Records… probably sometime in 2017.”
I guess on the optimistic side of things, it's something to look forward to in 2017?
