Trent Reznor Once Again Hints At More NINE INCH NAILS; Says He'll Be On The New QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Album and more tidbits from his Reddit AMA

Yesterday, Nice Inch Nails mastermind Trent Reznor agreed to do a Reddit AMA, where readers of the site could ask him anything they wanted and Trent would respond to as many inquiries as possible. There were a lot of great questions asked and Trent did his best to answer them all.

Here are some highlights:

When a question arose about Nine Inch Nails' light show and possible new shows, Trent answered the lighting question and wrote "Cryptic additional comment: 2013." So there is even more fuel to the NIN back in 2013 fire.

When asked "what's next," Trent revealed he will be contributing to the new Queens of the Stone Age record, which means at one point Trent Reznor and Dave Grohl will be in the same room together, as Grohl has comitted to playing drums on the album.

Trent also promised a full length album from How To Destroy Angels, as well as "rehearsals for two bands," again adding fuel to the NIN fire.

Trent also shed some light on the reissues of the NIN double-album, The Fragile saying:

The 5.1 mixes are done and sound amazing. Alan was the only person who could have possibly done it, and he did not disappoint. There are a couple other elements involved that we want to get right before we put this into production. These involve packaging and additional content. Patience, my friends.

Trent on his first computer:

I had a Commodore 64 with, I think, the Sequential Circuits Model 64 Sequencer Cartridge. And it was the greatest thing in the world (or so I thought at the time). Moving on… The first "real" platform I used for composition was a Mac+ running Performer. Pretty Hate Machine was done with this.

Trent on his favorite gear ever:

My Dad got me a Wurlitzer 200a electric piano as a preteen, and it pretty much changed the trajectory of my life. That piano is long gone, but I did recently pick one up, which I love.

There are more topics discussed including the Year Zero miniseries (on hold) and other trivial jokes. Read the whole AMA here.
