This Ghost band is gonna be real big someday. I can feel it.

It's hardly even an opinion anymore that Ghost is going to be the next big thing in metal. The band has achieved four Gold singles in 2022 alone, is up for a GRAMMY, won the first-ever American Music Award in the Rock category, made an appearance at an MLB game… you get the idea. Ghost is important in the rock and metal world. So important that Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford said the rock world needs "a band like Ghost to refocus and re-energize us."

In an interview with Revolver, Halford named "Elizabeth" as his favorite Ghost single between heaping praise onto the band. Halford said "Elizabeth" is his favorite because it offers insight into the mind of Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge, and gave a glimpse into the future of the band way back in 2010.

"Ghost are an important band on a variety of levels," said Halford. "Rock & roll — I use that term loosely in this context — needs a band like Ghost to refocus and re-energize us. Tobias meticulously created and sought out, firstly, the strength of Ghost musically, and secondly, the crucial visual elements, and both have drawn us into his world of Emeritus mystery and intrigue.

"As a fan, I am choosing the song 'Elizabeth' because of its valuable insight [into] the origins of Tobias' singular manner of composition, arrangements and textures, whereby one can sense enormous potential."
