The GRAMMY Awards will be held on February 5, 2023 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA and as usual the rock and metal categories are just kinda confusing. Highlights this year include Ozzy Osbourne inexplicably being nominated in both the rock and metal categories for songs from the same album, Turnstile and Muse apparently having some of the best metal songs of 2022, and Machine Gun Kelly taking up space in the Best Rock Album category.
I mean, what else did you expect? None of this is shocking. Though still, congratulations to everyone nominated – it's not your fault that the GRAMMYs has such an insanely narrow view of the rock and metal genres.
