Ozzy Osbourne is completely baffled by some people's stupidity. In an interview with SiriusXM’s Ozzy’s Boneyard, Osbourne said he straight up does not understand people who are not taking COVID-19 seriously. He's also a little pissed at people who are prolonging the pandemic, as they're keeping Osbourne off the road for longer than he'd like.
"Oh, I'm looking forward to getting back on the fucking stage… get this coronavirus under control," said Osbourne. "We can do some fucking gigs, please. If you're listening to this show, please, don't be dumb school and go to one of them stupid COVID fucking parties. That's for fucking fools because it is real, it isn’t a conspiracy and it will kill your ass."
In the meantime, Osbourne is in the studio with producer Andrew Watt working on a new record. Speaking to Radio.com, Ozzy confirmed he's "doing another record right now."
"I'm doing another record right now. I just started to work with Andrew again.
"It's what gets me up in the morning, and it's what I'm here to do. It saved my life, doing that last album. [It's better than] sitting on my ass all day waiting for the fucking pandemic to be over. And then you go, 'Oh, yeah, I am a rock and roller. I'd better do an album.' You've got all the fucking time in the world to make the best album possible."
No word on who Osbourne's backing band this time around will be. For Ordinary Man, Osbourne has Watt on guitar, Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) on bass, and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums. The album also featured guest appearances from Elton John, Slash, Post Malone and Tom Morello.
