The fate of Necrophagist is currently unknown, and has been unknown for quite some time. The last update we got was from drummer Romain Goulon, who said on his personal Facebook page that Necrophagist is dead. We've never gotten a confirmation or denial from vocalist and guitarist Muhammed Suiçmez regarding the band's status as active or defunct, so it's all speculation forever, basically.
However, alongside the band's re-release of Epitaph on colored vinyl, Suiçmez does comment on its existence… which is amazing. Suiçmez actually said a thing about Necrophagist!
"Epitaph is such an important album to me as it had a big impact on my life and it still does. I am really happy to see it released in vinyl format again after being out of print for so long and am especially excited about the vinyl colors of the limited editions, as they turned out beautifully."
