You guys know the story by now, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover quit Megadeth last fall and the band have been teasing us ever since. They seemingly found a new drummer and I guess the hunt is still on for a guitarist? Today, Dave Mustaine tweeted the following:

Who could this magical mystery person be? An unkown? A semi-known? We know is probably not Marty Friedman. We can probably put that rumor to rest once and for all.
Previously, Megadeth said they would begin recording the new album at the top of the month but it looks like the auditioning process delayed that a bit:
