Back in December of 2013 Gojira said they'd probably work on some new material this year and had already been throwing some ideas around. You mean we don't have to wait another four years between records? Great!
The band took to Facebook to post the above picture announcing they'd started in with the new jams,. The caption for the picture is dated "January 2014", so I guess they are pretty well under way.
Outside working on a new album, the band will also be putting out a sick live DVD/CD with a photo book this year and have an awesome tour coming up with Mastodon! So we'll be hearing a lot from Gojira this year, and I am not complaining.
