Deftones played their first show in nearly three years on April 14 at the Moda Center in Portland, OR. The show was the band's first since they parted ways with longtime bassist Sergio Vega, and first with new live bassist Fred Sablan (Marilyn Manson, Heavens Blade). The show also raised another unanswered question – who the hell is the second mystery guitarist in Deftones right now?
According to a report by (and sources close to) The PRP, the new guitarist is Lance Jackman (Eightfourseven, Horseneck, ex-Will Haven). No word on if Jackman or Sablan will continue on with the band in any permanent capacities yet, or if they'll even stay beyond this current tour.
