If you like bone-shattering, groove-laden metal in the vein of Gojira, Hacride and Lamb of God, then you're most definitely going to want to listen to Dark Mirror Neurons, the debut album from budding France-based bludgeoners Livhzuena. We are excited to bring you an exclusive stream of the album in its entirety, which can be heard below. Be sure to turn your speakers all the way up, so that even your neighbor's windows shake, because this is an album that deserves to be listened to at full blast.
Very much like their fellow Frenchmen Gojira and Hacride, Livhzuena play a highly groovy, technical and melodic style of death metal that should appeal to those who like metal that sounds like it's from the future. It's not hard to hear the comparisons to other bands of this ilk, especially in vocalist Franck's sung bellows, which are very reminiscent of Gojira's Joe Duplantier. Dark Mirror Neurons is filled to the brim with thick riffs and head-bobbing grooves, and even though I have no idea how to pronounce it, I have a feeling that Livhzuena is a name we'll be seeing a lot more of.
If you dig the album, you can order it on BigCartel. Also, check out the band on Facebook.
