High On Fire recently dropped off their tour with Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust and Haunt due to frontman and guitarist Matt Pike needing emergency surgery. Sleep then took to Facebook to announce that their December dates would not be affected by Pike's partial toe amputation surgery, and said that he was doing just fine after the procedure.
Now, and I wish he hadn't, Pike has taken to High On Fire's Instagram to post a picture of the surgery aftermath while promoting High On Fire's new album Electric Messiah. I'm warning you right now to stop here if you're squeamish or you're in the process of eating, because this one gets gross.
