So we've covered the fact that John Petrucci is a big ol' progressive metal nerd at heart, but what's James LaBrie listening to these days? Not what you think, that's for sure.
While MetalSucks thinks James LaBrie has pretty terrible taste in music, I'm not entirely convinced that it's "terrible." The video above is linked to the part where he's talking about what he jams, and for all those too uninterested to watch, some of the bands he names include Two Door Cinema, Mutemath, I See Stars, Sleeping With Sirens, Bring Me the Horizon, and August Burns Red.
Really dude? I'm actually pretty shocked he even went that heavy on some of his choices… always imagine LaBrie as a Kenny G kind of guy. Sure they're not "metalhead" choices, but LaBrie isn't exactly Captain Metal… unlike certain band members.
