DREAM THEATER Played A Ton Of Stuff They Haven't In A While During First Show With MIKE PORTNOY

Lotta older stuff plus the new Parasomnia single.

Dream Theater played their first show with original drummer Mike Portnoy since 2010 on October 20, 2024 at The O2 Arena in London, England. As promised, the show was a deep dive into their 40-year catalog where Dream Theater pulled out a boatload of songs they haven't played in years – including the two epics "Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper" and "Octavarium". Dream Theater also played the new track "Night Terror" from their upcoming record Parasomnia for the first time ever.

The show ran as follows:

  1. Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper (First time since 2017)
  2. Act I: Scene Two: I. Overture 1928
  3. Act I: Scene Two: II. Strange Déjà Vu
