Wes Scantlin has been in the news a lot lately, and not because Puddle of Mudd is putting out new music or anything, but because he is acting very erratically. In the last year, Scantlin has been arrested for a DUI not once but twice in the span of a month, and has a history of skipping shows for being arrested or sometimes, no reason at all. The band had to delete their Facebook page because they were getting so many negative reviews, after being booed off stage, and just last month he accused somebody off stage of stealing his house and at another gig, threatened to call the mafia on the sound guy.

The whole time, I wondered out loud, how his band chooses to remain with somebody who clearly should not be on stage and instead in some sort of mental health facility. Well, it seems like his band finally hand enough. MetalSucks reports at a recent gig in Doncaster, Australia, when Wes went off on another rant about a dude stealing his house, the band decided to just leave the stage and let him rant. Here is some hard-to-watch footage of Scantlin drunkenly ranting as some fans chant "FOOK YOU" incessantly.

Wes clearly needs help, and hopefully somebody reading this can do one of two things: 1) not book Puddle of Mudd anymore, because it will just be a disappointment to the promoter and fans and (2) get the dude some help.
