DAVE GROHL Makes It Clear That FOO FIGHTERS Plays Their Material Live… At The Expense Of TAYLOR SWIFT

Oh boy.

Arguments over what constitutes a live show have been rampant in recent years. Some folks draw the line at an artist using any backing tracks, while others are generally cool with it up until they feel an artist is straight up miming a performance. Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl found himself in the crosshairs of the feud – as well as avid Taylor Swift fans – over the weekend, which doesn't seem like a good place to be.

Both Swift and Foo Fighters played London on June 22 at Wembley Stadium and London Stadium, when Grohl mentioned Foo Fighters calls their current tour the Errors Tour (a play on Swift's current Eras Tour): "We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few fucking errors as well. Just a couple. That's because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock 'n' roll music, right? You came to the right fucking place."

Swift seemingly responded to the jab during her Sunday show, saying to the audience: "Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band — who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight — they deserve this so much."

Speculation has also surfaced that Grohl's comments are related to Swift fans attacking his daughter Violet online. Violet originally criticized Swift for flying privately around the world, which drew the ire of Swift fans. It also puts Grohl's "I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift" comment prior to the live show jab into context.

Either way, Foo Fighters is still a fantastic live band, and clearly Taylor Swift isn't exactly out there hurting for people to come to her shows.
