Charlie Benante has recently been out on the road with Pantera doing a great job paying tribute to Vinnie Paul… but what does his kit look like? In an Instagram post, Benante offered a description of his kit alongside a photo of it from behind.
"Drum post- a lot of people have been asking about the kit for this tour and here it is- it’s a Tama kit. The tom’s and floor tom’s gong drum are Star maple shells and the kicks are star bubinga – the snares are my signature snare and a starclassic G-maple. The cymbals are Paiste and as you can see a mix of Rudes and 2002s. Sticks are my signature Vic Firth, heads are Evans, Roland provided the td50x module with their triggers Porter & Davies thumper and that sums it up.

Pantera was recently announced for both Blue Ridge Rock Festival and Welcome To Rockville, as well as a massive tour with Metallica and Mammoth WVH.
