Celebrity chef and known metal fan Guy Fieri recently announced his inaugural Flavortown Festival for June 1 and 2 in Columbus, OH. Fieri's lineup included rock bands like Greta Van Fleet and Bret Michaels, but we thought "hey. Why not make some suggestions to Fieri about the metal bands he should book?" So we did with a whole list. And despite our best efforts, the Flavortown Festival has been cancelled.
While Metal Injection wasn't named specifically, a spokesperson for the Flavortown Festival commented to NBC4 saying: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Guy Fieri's Flavortown Fest, initially planned for June 1-2 in Columbus, Oh, has been canceled. Thank you to all our Flavortown Fest fans for understanding and your support along this journey."
We look forward to helping Fieri with what we're calling Flavor Injection 2025.
