Geezer Butler has to play more gigs! Now that Black Sabbath is over and he has plenty of free time on his hands, the legendary bassist has launched a new project with some familiar names.

Geezer has announced the group – Deadland Ritual – and it will feature alongside Butler former Guns N Roses / Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum, Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens and vocalist Franky Perez (Apocalyptica, formerly of Scars of Broadway). The band offered the following teasers on social media:

Their first announced gig will be at France's Hellfest on June 22nd. View the entire insane lineup here.
