We know that Bad Brains frontman H.R. is suffering from a neurological condition called SUNCT, or short-lasting unilateral neuralgiform headache with conjunctival injection and tearing. There was a GoFundMe launched in March 2016 to help out wth medical bills, but according to the man himself in an interview with Loudwire, he'll be having brain surgery on February 21 to hopefully rectify the issue.

“[My wife] took me to the hospital so I would learn about what was going on in my head, because I was experiencing bad headaches at the time,” H.R. told us. “And the doctor came to me and he said we’re going to have a surgery.”

H.R. says he's been dealing with SUNCT, also nicknamed the Suicide Syndrome due to the horrific pain, with "spiralina, wheatgrass, goldenseal and Vitamin A, D and C. I did experience some improvement with these" alongside “cocktail of pharmaceuticals."

We wish H.R. the absolute best of luck on February 21.
