Spirit Adrift just released their new album 20 Centuries Gone featuring two new songs and a handful of covers. Prior to the album, we got to hear both the originals and a cover of Pantera's "Hollow." Though the real star of the covers here (in my opinion) is Spirit Adrift's rendition of Type O Negative's 1999 classic "Everything Dies." It stays true to the doom and gloom of the original while offering just enough of a Spirit Adrift spin on things to add a whole new flavor.
20 Centuries Gone is out now and available here. The album runs as follows:
- "Sorcerer's Fate"
- "Mass Formation Psychosis"
- "Everything Dies" (Type O Negative cover)
- "Hollow" (Pantera cover)
- "Escape" (Metallica cover)
- "Waiting for an Alibi" (Thin Lizzy cover)
- "Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings" (ZZ Top cover)
- "Poison Whiskey" (Lynyrd Skynyrd cover)
