We haven't gotten an At The Drive-In album since 2000, but we're getting one in 2017. The band were in the studio earlier this year and today confirmed a new album will be coming next year and will be produced by guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Rich Costey. The album will be released on Rise Records.
We don't know the name of the album or the release date, but we do know the lead single. The band just posted “Governed by Contagions” and of course it sounds great:
