Brandi Carlile and Soundgarden's remaining members teamed up for a Record Store Day 2020 vinyl-only release called A Rooster Says. The EP showcases the collaboration performing Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" and "Searching With My Good Eye Closed", both of which have finally been made available digitally.
As for potential new Soundgarden in the wake of Chris Cornell's death, those recordings might see the light of day sometime soon.
