Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares recently posted an instrumental named "Roboticist" to show off his new Toneforge Disruptor tones. Turns out it's actually planned to be a new Fear Factory song sometime in the future.
According to Cazares in an interview with Blabbermouth, the song will be used for Fear Factory and the next record may be called Roboticist. "Initially it was just going to be [an] instrumental for the plugin, but it came out so good that I decided to make it a song for the new album," he said. "Maybe the album will be called the 'Roboticist'. It fits so well with our concept."
The next Fear Factory record will be the band's first with vocalist Milo Silvestro, who joined the band earlier this year. In the meantime, Fear Factory is re-issuing their 2010 album Mechanize and 2012 album The Industrialist. Mechanize is expanded with three bonus tracks while The Industrialist (now named Re-Industrialized) features live drums, new artwork, six bonus tracks, and is remixed by Greg Reely (Demanufacture, Obsolete, Mechanize).
