BRING ME THE HORIZON Gets Heavier Again On New Single "Kool-Aid"

There's a shreddy guitar solo and everything.

Bring Me The Horizon 2024

Bring Me The Horizon is going back to being heavier on their new single "Kool-Aid" and it sounds great! I mean, it's not Count Your Blessings-levels of deathcore or anything like that, but it's still crunchier than a lot of what they've been doing lately. Special shout out to guitarist Lee Malia for that bit of shred toward the middle too.

The single is also Bring Me The Horizon's first since the departure of keyboardist Jordan Fish, who split with the band in December 2023. Fish played for Bring Me The Horizon between 2012 and present day.

"Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish," wrote Bring Me The Horizon of lineup change. "We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile we continue to work on Nex Gen, with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January."

Fish also commented on his departure: "I'm really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together. I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future. I'm excited to start this next chapter in my career."
