Bent Sea, the project headed up by multi-instrumentalist maniac Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork), is back with predictably grindy new song "Downed at a Gulp". The song features Verbeuren on guitar, Mike Paparo (Inter Arma) on vocals, Brett Bamberger (Revocation, Publicist UK) on bass, and Dave Witte (Municipal Waste, Publicist UK, ex-Discordance Axis) on drums.
“When Dave Witte’s behind the kit, you know the blast beats are gonna have that swing!” said Verbeuren in an interview with Decibel. “What a pleasure to have Dave contribute to the Instagrind. Together with Brett and Mike, they brought their A-game to the D-beat. The resulting track slides down the esophagus like a knife in butter!”
