When it first made its debut fifteen years ago, this adorable Metallica "Master of Puppets" playset (made by Stevenson Entertainment Group) retailed for a mere $29.99. And unless you already own this badass heavy metal playset, you can't find it now for less than $75-$80 still in its original packaging.
While this playset is pretty much the height of cool, it scores extra-awesome points for the inclusion of original Metallica bassist, Cliff Burton, who passed away in 1986. Behold it in all its GLORY!
Also included in the 25-piece-set are mini-figures you can pose on the stage backdrop of James Hetfield (along with his microphone stand), Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett. The stepped-up stage includes four white crosses and artwork homaging the album artwork for Master of Puppets done by the prolific Dan Brautigam (RIP). The figures come with their own instruments and a nice replica of Lars' drum kit, including four cymbals on stands, a high hat, and two drum sticks.
