From the "how is this only happening now" department, Jagermeister announced a new limited edition "Slayer gift pack" bottle, according to Metal Hammer.
No band and alcohol are associated more closer than Slayer and Jager – I probably would've never tried the beverage if it weren't for the thrash titans and Jager want to celebrate the band's farewell tour with this commemorative design.
"We want to thank SLAYER for the trail they’ve blazed, and also the fans for supporting SLAYER and being a part of history," the Jager website notes, "To commemorate this occasion, we’ve released this extremely limited edition SLAYER inspired 1.75l bottle of Jägermeister in a custom gift box, engraved with your name."
The bottles are available for £100 in the UK shop.
Naturally, Kerry King is pumped saying “We’ve had some good times with Jägermeister through the years, we love that they’re creating a limited edition bottle to recognise the end of our journey and it looks awesome. I’m honored that our friends at Jägermeister hold us in such high regard. I can’t wait to get my hands on one!"
Slayer are wrapping up another North American leg of their final tour, with just two dates left:
May 24 BB&T Pavilion, Camden, NJ
May 25 Xfinity Center, Mansfield, MA
