Metal is slowly seeping its way into more and more movies. Last year, there was a ton of metal in the Oscar-winning The Big Short. I saw the final Wolverine movie, Logan, over the weekend and there was a kid with All Shall Perish and Suicide Silence posters.
And, today, we learned that Revocation will be featured in the new Power Rangers movie. MetalSucks notes that a document with the movie's soundtrack had leaked and it "lists the song “Communion,” from their 2016 album Great is Our Sin, as appearing in the film alongside tracks by Twenty One Pilots, The Raconteurs, George Strait, Tove Lo, Explosions in the Sky, Social Distortion, Destiny’s Child." A pretty big get for the Revo boys.
The movie itself tries to be a more dramatic take on the 90s and early 00s kids shows. The movie comes out March 24th. If anybody actually goes, let us know if the band made it in.
