New Details & First Images Surface From The SLAYER Repentless Comic

It's looking awesome.

It's looking awesome.

In July, Slayer announced they would be teaming with Dark Horse Comics for a three-part comic book series based on their most recent album, Repentless. We learned Jon Schnepp, the man who designed the character art for Metalocalypse, will be overseeing and writing the project with  Guiu Vilanova drawing the interiors. Glenn Fabry is in charge of the cover art and Eric Powell will do the alternate cover. The comics will be based on the recent Slayer music video trilogy, and the creators promise it will be violent and gory.

Today, two new images surfaced and they look as awesome as ever:

An in-depth interview with Jon Schnepp regarding the making of the comic can be found here.

The comic is slated for release in late January. Issue #1 of Slayer: Repentless #1 is available for preorder on the Dark Horse web site.
