British Kids Play Center Forced To Apologize For Employee Wearing SLIPKNOT Mask

A children's play center in England is getting some heat after an employee showed up to a Halloween function in a Slipknot mask. Adventure Kidz describes itself “indoor adventure centre” and due to the season all the employees were encouraged to show up in Halloween costumes. One employee showed up as Corey Taylor.

Despite the venue noting on their Facebook that their employees would be in costume, and also making an announcement on the loud speakers about the costumes before the employees appeared on the floor of the place, one mother was still very disturbed by the mask. The mother, identified as Charlotte Nolan, posted the following message to the Facebook:

“[Adventure Kidz] were completely off the mark. There are plenty more appropriate costumes they could wear, they could have done Frankenstein or Dracula, they just didn’t need a man in a mask.”

Rather than point out how silly Miss Nolan was being, Adventure Kidz owner Andrew Moody took the high road and immediately posted an apology online.  Moody spoke to Kent Online, and said that his staff have been bothered ever since the incident:

“The incident was dealt with within five minutes, the company have apologised and that was it from start to finish.

“I honestly feel bullying my staff is from my point of view just not on.

“This is unacceptable and has to stop.”

It seems like everybody just needs to take a chill pill here, no? Also, what exactly is scary or inappropriate about the Taylor mask? Is a Frankenstein mask any less scary? I don't think so.
