Remember how disappointing the announcement for the Best Metal Performance nominees at this year's Grammys was? We remember.
But at least there will be some more hard rock representation on the show in the form of a performance by AC/DC. The rock gods have been confirmed as one of the performers for the ceremony which will air Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 on CBS. Other performers include Eric Church, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Madonna.
Fun fact: AC/DC have only won one Grammy, in 2010, for Best Hard Rock Performance of the track "Black Ice," a category that no longer exists. The band were nominated an additional five times in the category since 1989 and received a Best Rock Album nomination in 2010.
It's safe to assume that drummer Phil Rudd will likely not perform with the band, even though he probably assumes otherwise.
