Charges Against SLIPKNOT Guitarist Mick Thomson Over Stabbing Incident with Brother Revealed

Both Mick and his brother have to appear in court.

Both Mick and his brother have to appear in court.

On March 11, Slipknot guitarist Mick Thomson was reportedly stabbed in the back of the head by his brother after a night of drinking. He did not sustain any life-threatening injuries

Now, reports are coming out that Thomson and his brother are both being charged with disorderly conduct. Neither is pressing charges against each other though, which is a good thing. So sayeth the Des Moines Register:

"After an investigation police concluded that Mickael Thomson, 41, and his brother Andrew Thomson, 35, were both responsible for the March 11 assault, which hospitalized both of them.

Both have been charged with disorderly conduct by fighting. The brothers were booked and released on a promise they will appear in court March 30. Both parties declined to seek charges against each other."

Fact- I had no idea Mick's full name was Mickael. The more you know! Seriously though, I'm glad this whole thing is over and nobody's life is ruined (or over) because of it.

Both Mick and Andrew are due in court on March 30 to address the disorderly conduct charge. In Iowa, disorderly conduct is considered a simple misdemeanor and comes with a maximum fine of $625 and 30 days in jail. I doubt either of these guys will be seeing jail time.
