Type O Negative – All Hallow’s Eve
Over their body of work, Type O Negative practically scored the month of October. Many of their songs embody the feel of the chill that rolls in when the season changes and the leaves start to fall by using heavy, dragging guitar pieces behind Peter Steele’s dark lyrics and haunting voice. Obviously, Black No 1. is probably already on everybody's Halloween playlist, but it won’t hurt to add a whole lot more Type O. Start with ‘All Hallows Eve’. The lyrics to this song read like a foreboding love poem to the holiday.
