Black Sabbath will be putting an end to its illustrious career next year with a fantastic, world-spanning tour. The band has said in several interviews throughout the past year or so that even if/when things were finally going to be over, there just might be one more Black Sabbath record.
Now, in an interview with NOLA, frontman Ozzy Osbourne says that probably isn't going to happen because he's just too goddamn old.
"In December, I'll be fuckin' 68 and I think it's time to call it the end of the day. I'm not saying I won't get on stage with Geezer or Tony (Iommi) or any of them some time, but officially we're going to be done.
"I don't want it to dwindle and dwindle and play just for the sake of making another fuckin' sack full of cash. So it's time, and then I'll go back to doing my own thing."
Honestly, if Ozzy doesn't think it's going to be good then why bother doing it? 13 was a solid way to end the band's career and we as fans certainly have more than enough Sabbath to listen to. Frankly, if the final record is going to suck then let's just skip it!
