MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine Says He Has No Problems with Other Members of the Big Four

Dave has no problems with nobody!

Dave has no problems with nobody!

The fine folks at the MetalSucks podcast got quite a coup getting Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on their podcast for an interview. For some reason, Dave's publicist won't return our calls.

You may recall, a few months ago Slayer's Tom Araya said that the Big 4 shows, which feature Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth & Anthrax will probably never happen again due to the character of one person in one of the bands, heavily suggesting it was Dave Mustaine without outwardly saying it.

Naturally, this was brought up in the interview, and Mustaine denied that he's the guy causing problems saying any drama between him and the other musicians in the Big Four is water under the bridge:

"I didn't say that [no more 'Big Four' shows were ever going to happen again]. I said that I'm not the one to as. I love Tom. I think that all the hardship that we've had has been really sad, because, again, the media and stuff like that sometimes…

"People back in the day would try and propagandize everything I would say or put this inflammatory twist on whatever. There was things I did and said that caused some problems between Tom and I, and we worked it out.

So, man, I have no problem with him or Anthrax or Metallica, so I don't know where that came from. It could be some really old stuff that got regurgitated again. But, you know, I buried the hatchet a long time ago with those guys."

So, according to Dave, it's not his fault there aren't more shows, at least according to him. Case closed?
