The 45th President of the United States of America is gearing up for his big inauguration this Friday, with such A-list performers as Toby Kieth and 3 Doors Down. But is Donald Trump secretly a fan of heavy metal?
We've seen him awkwardly dancing (not moshing) to Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," but turns out he likes it even heavier. According to the godfather of metal and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, Trump once came to a Sabbath show with his daughter and wanted to meet the band. Unfortunately they weren't really able to do so. He tells The Birmingham Mail:
“We have a lot of people come to our show you wouldn’t think. Donald Trump came a few years ago. We were leaving because we had to get the flight. He came backstage with his daughter but we couldn’t stay to talk to him, we couldn’t miss the slot for our plane.
“It was a bit ‘hello, hello’ and gone. Bruce Willis and all sorts of people have been to see us.”
I wonder if it was Ivanka or Tiffany Trump that accompanying the President-elect as he sat through such classic tunes as "Sweet Leaf," "Snowblind," and "War Pigs."
I wonder what Trump's favorite Sabbath song is?
