TRIVIUM Post Official Version of "Strife"

Trivium are in full promo-mode for their new album, Vengeance Falls, which is out on October 15th. Today, the band posted an official stream of a song that they played live a few weeks back, "Strife."

Much like I mentioned in my initial posting, this track has David Draiman's fingerprints all over the vocals. This almost sounds like a Disturbed song, or perhaps Disturbed covered by Trivium, vocally at least. The music is solid, the solos at the end are great but I just can't get on board  with the vocals.

I'm sure the band was very happy with the vocal delivery and it's likely that this track will be sent to hard rock radio stations, which is still a huge, but narrow-minded, area for marketing for bands (see: Five Finger Death Punch, All That Remains).

What do you think of "Strife" as it compares to band's older material?
