Some flyin-in-yr-face tech deathcore maniacs persevering with grace through the shitshow that was 2020. Imagine they'd be supreme live for sure. Another feather in the cap of Unique Leader, who, by the way, host a label special on Gimme April 30th you most certainly don't wanna miss.

SOCIOCLAST – Eden's Tongue

Bitchin grindcore trio out of San Jose who know how to temper their stride and strangulation with equal gusto, out on Chad Gailey from Necrot's Carbonized imprint, which he'll be showing off with his guest DJ special coming up on Gimme April 28th.

ISGHERURD MORTH – Inferhn

A killer summit between Franco wunderkind drummer Romain Goulon (Necrophagist/Benighted) and Siberians Max Konstantinov (Kamlath) & Peter Shallmin (Escape the Cult); furious pummel that gives way to expansive meditative blackgaze.

AGENT STEEL – Carousel of Vagrant Souls

Whoa! WTF. Heard this on Horrox's By This Wax I Rule and it sounds like Cirith Ungol's guts being pumped through one of those Play-Doh strainers. The ensuing separated matter is triumphantly galloping fuckery that must have solicited some wild comments on the You Tube cuz they shut the comments off. This is like New Wave of Butthole Surfers Metal or something.

ALTARAGE – Forja

4th LP 'Succumb' out April 23 from this powerful Bilbao, Spain combo with their singular commentary on this song publicly being "life's a bitch, get high, succumb, die." While "Forja" scrabbles like the most furious of death metal, the gut-punch pound when they slow things down ranks up there with the slayingest Swans moments. Otherwise their sound is a blasphemous beehive of collision, submission and stop-start tension that underlies the slop being churned out of this band's guts. Marvelous.
