Progressive Hard Rock Act SHUMAUN Feature PAIN OF SALVATION Drummer on "Under the Sun"

Shumaun is an American progressive hard rock/metal act fronted by vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Farhad Hossain while also including guitarist Tyler Kim and bassist Jose Mora. Throughout their recording history, the band has scooped up a handful of serious drummers such as Tanvir Tomal (ex-Iris Divine), Waqar Khan (Entity Paradigm), Travis Orbin (Darkest Hour, Periphery), and Mark Zonder (Fates Warning, Warlord).

This year, the group prepares their third full-length album titled Memories & Intuition, which continues the pattern of drummers in abundance. On the percussion arsenal, this upcoming record reveals Thomas Lang (Peter Gabriel, Paul Gilbert), Atma Anur (Jason Becker, Tony Macalpine), and Leo Margarit (Pain of Salvation) as well as Mark Zonder once again.

We're excited to be premiering the new single "Under the Sun," a melodic slowburner featuring the aforementioned Leo Margarit. Check out the music video now.
