KRIGSGRAV Drop Atmosphere-Drenched New Single "Absence"

Krigsgrav

Texas-based blackened doom merchants Krigsgrave are back with more atmosphere-drenched melancholic metal. "Absence" is taken from their upcoming LP The Sundering and is an absolutely stunning combination of atmospheric black metal and melodic death metal.

"This song was the first complete song written for The Sundering, and the first written by Cody.  We had other songs in the works but not fully finished, so "Absence" served as a counterpoint and helped us shape other songs so we could make a strong balance of material for this album.  The ending is just epic and I think helps brighten the album at the right time." – Jay Coleman comments.

Krigsgrav draws inspiration from the best of the best in rustic dark metal and ‘90s Swedish black metal with hypnotic melodies, creating a sound that is both brooding and colossal. The Sundering is Krigsgrav’s sixth LP and is the first album featuring newly recruited lead guitarist Cody Daniels. The album is due out August 6th and you can pre-order your copy HERE.
