Royal Thunder seemed to be in the studio throughout the entirety of 2016, and finally we've received word that its new album Wick will be out on April 7 via Spinefarm Records. The new song "April Showers" doesn't quite seem like the band's previous efforts, as it dives slow-motion into a pile of delay and building choruses… but that's alright. It's still fantastic.
“A lot has happened in life between Crooked Doors and Wick. This song was a liferaft and an outlet while we were on the road. It was a song that we lived in and looked forward to playing, live.
