PERTURBATOR's Next Release Might Be The Most Metal Non-Metal Album Of 2015

The dude has the whole "retro horror movie dystopia" thing down to a science.

Perturbator, one-man project of James Kent, has been dropping killer records over the past few years and has even done soundtrack work for games like Hotline Miami. I'm not saying the guy is trying to intentionally make metal electronica music, but sometimes it just feels like a little more than a coincidence.

Check out the teaser for a new track called "Assault" and try not to headbang. I dare you to try and not headbang when the whole thing goes completely fucking insane around thirty seconds in. Could this be the most metal non-metal release this year? Kent's got the whole "dystopian 80's horror flick" soundtrack down so well that I think the only natural progression for him is just to keep getting heavier and heavier.
